FAQS
How often do you visit my pool?
We do it weekly (4x/month), and if there happen to be 5 service days in a month, you won't be charged for the fifth one ever!

If it's raining, do you still service my pool?
We absolutely do! But for the safety of our employees, we ask them not to do anything with a long metal pole in a thunderstorm such as skimming or vacuuming. That's why we hire people instead of lightning rods.

Do you provide service on Holidays?
For the most part, yes we do. Our office is closed from Christmas Day through New Year's Day. But if you have service scheduled during that week, we will gladly make up the day either before or after the holiday week.

My pool pump is on, but the water isn't moving. What do I do?
First, you should check the water level in the pool. If it's more than 3 inches from the top, you probably need to fill it up a bit. Also, empty the skimmer and motor baskets. If all these things are good and it still doesn't seem to be working right, give us a call at 817-439-1500 and we'll be glad to take a look.

How do I protect my pool from the big freeze that's headed our way?
You should make sure your freeze protector is working. This device overrides your control system and it keeps your pool running whenever the air temperature drops below your designated setting (typically 37°F). Also, you can cover your pool equipment with tarps or blankets, just like you would do for your outside plants during a freeze.

How long should I run my pool?
During the summer months, we recommend it be run 8 to 12 hours per day. During the winter time, it really only needs to be run about 4 to 6 hours a day.

What causes green algae?
The leading causes of that gnarly algae are poor sanitation or water chemistry, poor filtration and circulation, and of course debris that may be lying in the pool.
